I've got a buddy that is looking at wheel spacers for the front wheels on his 400ex. He was asking if the spacers that are four indiv. spacers for the studs are worthwhile. I didnt know but I thought that they didn't look as reliable as a donut type spacer. Has anyone ever used these indiv. stud spacers that im talking about? What do you think of them?

I would not recommend any kind of wheel spacer. They will cause more feedback through the handlebars, and make the quad handle like crap.

wheel spacers are a no no.

I run spacers on the rear, but I don't care for spacers on the front. I don't do MX usually so they have worked great for me. I wouldn't really trust the stud spacers personally. I use the GForce spacers from RMATV and they work well and have held up great.

So if you dont like spacers, then how would you widen a 400 front end?

I personally would save money and get a set of a-arms for the 400 like I did on the Raptor.
