Reasons a R wouldn't start....

my friend matt has an R and it doesnt want 2 start it sounds like it wants to, but it doesnt.....what may cause this? it was flooded so we let it drain and changed the spark plug: tried it again but, it still wasnt starting any reasons i can tell him?

There are quite a few possible reasons. The electrical system being a very likely possibe reason. Do a search and you will find tons of threads that have asked the same question. I don't mean to be unhelpful, but just try to search before you start a new thread.
