Who would be up for a harescramble race in 2 weeks. Near Martinsburg, WV

This will be on a brand new track.....lots of virgin territory!!!!

What has been laid out so far is pretty gnarly....

We want to get an idea if we can get enough people to run a race at that time....the track so far is 4.5 miles...very tight...lots of obstacles...about 25 min lap times

so all you exriders in the mid atlantic area come on out and see what you can really do

the track has a 90' tabletop in it....for all you so called big jumpers
we may not use it, but you never know

Did you get the track up and running???? Is the one we talked about a while back??? I didnt forget about you, I am still goina get my brother to call you. He is in the process of rebuilding his Banshee now. I think I am coming back there around the 13th of September

Yes it is the track we talked about....it is on 120 acres.

The MX track is going to be HUGE....the layout for the MX track is 1.5 miles.

The berms are done and we are building jumps now...a 90' tabletop is done...it has 160 tandem loads of top soil in it!!!!

Where is Martinsvurg, what day is the race, what classes are there, how much entry fee, and why did you bring in top soil for the mx track.

The track is located right outside of Hedgesville, WV on Tomahawk Run Road.
If you exit 16W on Interstate 81 in WV you travel approxiametly 6.5 miles to Back Creek Valley Road Route 7 (turn left)....go another 2 miles and turn right on Tomahawk Run Road ( turn in between Tomahawk Store and a big white house)...go another 1.5 miles and turn right and follow the drive back to the track.

The first harescramble is planned for Aug 18 and a practice MX day is scheduled for Sept. 1 with a kickoff party that night ( with live band) and a MX race on Sept 2

We are so busy on the track that we dont have a website yet....but that is in the works.

we are using topsoil and sawdust in the MX track....for 1 it is easy to work with. It drains well. And less rocks!!!!
The MX track is european style....rolling up and down hill.

The harescramble track has little of everything...tight trees, rocks, old logging trails, various types of terrain.

The band for the party will be Ironboss....Chris Rhoten's band

Chris was the guy a few years ago in MX Action magazine with the 250 National starting gate tatooed across his back
