What do u guyz think..... nerf bars or no nerf bars??

Posted by: speedyquad

nerf bars
just started riding with my first set, will never ride without them now

Get them, Thats one of the things that I require to have on any quad I will own.

if u race unfortunatly they will be required... hav a quad with nerfs flip over and pin u under it, or get a foot behind or stuck in the webbing... i friggin hate nerfs.... heal gaurds aint terrible though.

I have them, there kool. but, just wondering wat u guyz think.

I'm not a fan of nerfs on my 250R because it takes away from the OEM look, which I am a sucker for. My YFZ had nerfs and I honestly never noticed them unless my feet were getting caught in the webbing, or they were getting in the way when working on the quad in the garage. I'm sure they do more good than harm, but I personally never saw the benefit in a non-racing environment.

True....they r a big pain in the ***** when working on the R!

nerf bars have saved my ace more than enuf times to make me love them.... the real question is.... heel guards or no heel guards? i knwo not many companies make a heel guard option for the 250r.

Anybody that has ever seen an ATV break and the insueing recovering time/work will have nerfs. I have only seen a few times I didn't like them. That being said mine doesn't have them right now, now if I can find a decent frame to start a build up on then it will have a GOOD set with heal guards.
