Has anyone ever heard of, or had any experience with these. I found one for a good price ($100), so I was thinking about buying it. I'm just wondering if it will coll any better than stock...

I run a 250r afco on my hybrid, very nice radiator the aluminum water fittings are trick as hell. Its a double pass meaning it goes one way through one half then the other way through the bottom half. Its like cooling twice. 100 is a really good deal they are about 375 new

So I take it I should buy the radiator then. What advantages will it give me, just no overheating (because I don't have heat problems as it is) Will it help out the performance getting it to run cooler?

Is it at a store that you are getting it from? If so, pass on the deals- haha

no- theyre are advantages of having a better radiator, besides not overheating...

as it runs cooler, it wears on the engine less. in addition, you're bike runs faster when it is cooler (excluding just starting it up obviously)- if you repeatedly shoot the hill your 1st couple times will be your fastest.. thats part of why people run race gas- it burns cooler than normal gas... so yes, between performance and wear and tear there definately are benefits of a better radiator.. if you dont want it i'll take it...

It's shocking at how much better an aftermarket radiator works. I had a PWR on my 250R w/ my 310 kit an it never went over 175 degrees. The stock radiator ran 190-200 all the time. Now that I am back to the stock jug, I went back to the stock radiator. It runs around 175-180 in hot weather. I am going to a ported stock jug now and want to play it safe so I am throwing the PWR back on. Just keeping the temps down around 170-180 will reduce wear considerably on your motor. Not to mention it looks good! It's not like a late model EFI car that performs best at full operating temp.....the cooler you can keep the motor, the longer it will last.
