did the 04 have any problems? my buddie had one and he blew it up 4 times, was it just him or do they have problems?

They had a charging issue, an oil plug issue, and the swingare wasn't as strong as the later bikes.

There is a charging update.

You can buy a replacement oil plug that will not pop out.

Swingarm is your choice.

i know someone that constantly bounces his off of the rev limiter, and i dont think that he has blown up his. he has gone through a couple of cdi's but no seizing.

the first day i got my from the dealer rolled it from the show room floor and unloaded it at the track and broke it in like i stole it there no problem with it ,battery went dead but great bike and i always bounce it off the rev all day when racing. i probly ahve like 200 hr on it on rebuild. i'm rebuild it now but great bike and honda is always following me to keep up.
