What is the ticking noise, everyone is sayin its my vavles but is that for sure, and how loud should i let it get, and how many times should u adjust them...

400ex's r known for a little tick. do u have the stock cam? if not then it could be ur cam cuz aftermarket ones tick.

If it ticks like crazy, it could be your cam chain. If the cam chain is streached and the tensioner is at the max, it slaps up and down creating a tick.

Could be that, or your vavles. I would make sure wich one it is cause if its the chain you could jump teeth on your timing and bend your vavles.
