i need a new pistion for my 400ex and i dont know which piston i should get

wiesco is junk to me. just my opnion though. my theory is that if your gonna shell out 120 dollars for a wiesco you might as well spend the extra few dollars to get a real good one.

What problems have you ever had with a wiseco? You just think they're junk cause someone else said this or do you actually have a reason???

I'd go JE or Ross myself for the 400ex only because the wiseco compression ratings are wrong for the 400ex, since it is an xr400 piston and the Xr uses thinner gaskets. Other than that I've used wisecos on most of my quads and loved them.

ya but you can fix the compression by using the xr400 base gasket.
