Alright , well I finally sold my YFZ the other day , so now it's time for a Ute .
Here's my question .... How tippy are the Grizzlys and Kodiaks??
I've heard of a few people saying they are pretty top heavy , don't like corners at higher speeds and aren't the best in off-cambers . Any truth to this ?? And if there is , whats the solution ???

The Grizz does feel top heavy & tippy-er than other big bores, the Kodiak doesn't.

when I first got mine and rode it, it felt really tippy but I was used to ridding the 450r, after some seat time its not that bad, they are great machines

I dont' think the Kodiak is tippy! I have a 2000 & have "tippy issues" LOL
it'll slide nicely around a corner too
I ran my tires w/ less air though due to my size but I've rode Polaris' & some HOnda's & I am going to have to say I don't think the Kodiak is tippy, only when you get it in a nasty position
haha only time I've EVER tipped over w/ it

Thanks for the replies guys and girls .
I bought a 2004 Grizzly over the weekend . It's pretty much loaded so I think the tippiness issue will be cleared up . It's got Elka suspension and larger tires with different offset rims . From what I've read over the net , tires and rims eliminate this problem with the Grizzly ..... I can play around with the Elkas also to avoid too much body roll .

Thanks !! I'm sure I'll have a ton of fun riding it . Even though I LOVE sport quads , I think this bike will be more practical now that we have a cottage , I have a girlfriend, and I'm getting back into hunting ....plus all my buddies have 4x4s now .
I can't wait to try out the Elka's .... I know just by pushing down on them and seeing how much they give , they are going to make a huge difference . Keeo an eye out in the open forum ... I'll post picture that I took in a few minutes !!!

one of my friends have one and he loves it...they are not tippy at all

I think they are tippy stock, but add some aftermarket rims and tires and they are fine.
Mine is not tippy with the big lift...then again it's also almost 10" wider than stock...lol We can slam doughnuts all day long on concrete without getting it on 2 wheels.

NICE !!!!
The Grizzly I bought has a set of ITP C-Series Rims with 27" 589s on it and a set of completely adjustable Elka's .... I hope that solves the tippyness issue that I heard about .
