I think that the KFX will smoke a stock Z400.I have raced Z400s and smoked them.I am conisdering maybe gettin the KFX insted of the Z400.Honda needs to update and quick.If they make another air cooled quad i am gonna buy a Z400 and KFX400..

umm go buy one then... I could care less what quad is better or if the honda 400ex is crap. Why?? well because if you have enough SKILL you can beat any quad out there and I know people don't have enough skill to own a lot of these quads and don't know how to use them and end up modding them so thats its basicly a crutch for their lame skills.

I like that other manufacturers are coming out with rad quads,
because now Honda will have to step up to the plate. And being
Honda, their going to make sure it's a winner like the 250R and the 400EX. So ride what you got and stay in one piece doing it !

The Z and the KFX are the same just different colors. maybe different shocks. I heard the Kawi has a different contract with a shock manufacturer.

Kawi and Zuk didnt exactly merge. They are sharing some ideas and bikes.

LSR416ex, thats the complete opposite of what everyone else has been saying, most people say that the Z has more top end and the EX has more low end torque. You sure you didn't have that 416 kit on while you were "smoking" them and you forgot about it?

First off the kawasaki bought the z400 blueprints from suzuki and got permission from them to copy that. kawasaki just made it green gave it a new name and slapped a kawasaki sticker on it. the kawasaki fans are bragging about there new quad and really its a green z400.

who the frick gives a ****, a quad is a quad and if you think you need the newest most hyped up quad to makeup for not having any skill then your wasting your money, its gonna be nothing but a crutch later on. I don't think the z has anything better than the 400ex worth even mentioning besides reverse but really I would never use it seeing I mainly mx. air cooled vs liquid cooled have their good and bad points but the 400ex does just fine with it.

How far upstate are you? Id like to see what my Z could do against your bike. I have a slip-on and air filter. Im really not trying to start a fight but i really want to see the difference.

(plus i think youre not telling the complete truth, you must be a much more expierenced rider than the guy/girl on the Z)

if you use a clamp style filter (which most aftermarket filters are) you must use an adapter like the alba one. its just an aluminum spacer/reinforcement.

i have a kfx 400 geared down with aftermarket cdi and full white bros 4 exhuast and uni airfilter...full skid, front bumper.handle bars. nerfbars... even geared down i kick the **** out of every 400ex i beat a 440ex in 4th gear they all suck... and there made 4 trails cuz they suck at mx 2...get a life get a z or a kfx! 400ex suck!

Why waste your money on a 400 go buy your self a 450 and you will be thankful you did. If you get the 400 and you just gonna get mad when you cant keep up with the 450s and bigger Quads.

Hi guys,

I've just ordered AC DVX400 and it should come to Europe in the beginning of May.
Could someone please inform me are then KFX400, LTZ400 and DVX400 the same quads? Only the plastic is different?
And how come that you do not have forum for Arctic cat DVX, nobody ride it, what are your opinion regarding AC?

wow man u guys really r serious when it comes to ur bikes, some people like this bike one likes another, its just like trying to make a chevy guy drive a ford for the rest of his life. U cant change a passionate owner so u no wat who cares! I love ridin my old 250x and my xr 250 so u no wat who cares about wats faster except on the track. Theres always gonna be the guy who wants the fastest pucker around so as long as theres a demand then there is gonna be new faster quads. I plan on buying a 400ex someday but for now the old 250x will last me.

i new 450 dirtbike is faster then a 450 fourwheeler. I azm i quad guy but a bike is defenitly faster mainly because its 150 pounds lighter and has the same engine. Get it right bikes are faster then quads, but quads are much sweeter

you got that right. my hubby has a 99 WR400F dirtbike bone stock and i've seen him bust every 450 quad around here, modded or not. suzuki, yam and the kaw's. including the honda's. he's beaten them in the hills and drags. seen him bust a couple 660 and 700 raptors too in the drag. i ride a 400ex and its plenty fast for me but it dont hold a candle to his bike.
