Adding reverse with AC propegs

Saw in ATV sport Bill Balance cut the first strap out of his AC propegs so he could get his feet down to back up. Been wondering about doing the same myself. I just zipped-tied them back in case I want to change them back. I'll run it awhile and see how it works. Heres a pic.

#2 The black tape on the front fenders is where I siliconed the holes. I'll pull it off when it dries. LOL

Good thinkin, but i think you are taking away a bit of your protection by making the nets smaller.

What about the ol' putting your feet on the front tires, and rolling it back that way?

kinda hard with the nerf bar and the front fenders... I dunno I think it would be alright and I guess chances are its gonna catch your feet if they come off.

yeah, i belive your sacraficing your protection, i just put on ac nerfs today, im very happy to have all the protection i can.

For trail ridding I think that would be okay. Any jumping and I would be worried about missin a peg.

I tried it out today. Rode some practice X/C. The holes are not as big as they look in the pic. I had to turn my foot to get it down through there. It worked great when I had to back up. If I was catching big air I would leave them like they were.

LOL, Why would I have my feet down to back up when i'm on a hill? I'm just kidding with ya, I know ya'll are just looking out for my safety. I'll run it a little longer and see how it works. But for now, it seems to be working pretty good.
