in my manuel it says to run 92 or higher octane(it says it will hurt the engine if you dont)...i was wondering is this true?

run what your manual say. they tell you to run that for a reason.

I have a stock enigne on my 450R and I run super unleaded which is 97 octane... but just regualer gas dont hurt it
