I got my new 450R yesterday and am in the process of breaking it in... It is such a jump to the 450r from the 400EX!!!

i bet that is awesome...the jump from the 400ex to any 450 is so amazingg...the power...the suspension..pretty much everything...i hope you have fun on your new bike

i thought the jump from a 300ex to a400ex was a lot more than the jump from the 400 to the r. don't get me wrong, there is def, a difference, but it is not mind blowingly great.

LOL, speedy I did the same thing and feel the same about the step-up. Stock, the R isn't what you think it is, but modified, they rock. Personally, I think that with a good exhaust and cam, they are some of the fastest bikes around. You will definately enjoy the 450r!

I had a 300ex, 400ex and a 450r is what I have now... I got the 450r about 2 months ago and the jump from a 300ex to a 400ex is more of a jump and but the 400 to the 450 is the more fun jump... I like the 450 because the shocks are already great and it has great horsepower gains over a 400ex and they are just so much faster in the get up and go... I have just Holeshot HD's all around and Hiper carbon fiber wheels and some custom graphics... I payed only $5,000 for my 450r up at PROCYCLE in Columbia, MO..... they have the best deals i know of... I walked out with a black 2006 450r and payed only 5,200 once everything was payed for... and then plus the sales tax i payed later on... but the R is a hell of a bike and is really a steal for around 5,650 including sales tax and everything..

yfz or LTR..the 450r is ok..but seriously how can you can compare a honda to a yamaha or suzuki...j/k all of the 450's are so equally matched you really cant go wrong
