Bought a 2003 honda 300 ex can u take of that stupid black plastic thing on handle bars and also get rid of he headlight? any tips on doing if possible? Thanks

Sure you can. Just pop it off the handlebars, unplug all your lights and go. With the head light, you can take that off with a couple bolts. I went and got some lights from the Auto store and wired them into the harness: this is what i had

I used the Handlebar cover off of my Z400, it just clamped right on, and hooked up the lights through that and also ran the key to it too.
