has anyone seen or heard nething about the predator 500 its on sportquad.com or the predator500.com site but they wont tell who makes it and it says in a dragrace it can beat a modified raptor by a "huge margin." if anyone knows about it please respond.

The Polaris Predator 500 will be out in a couple months says our local Polaris dealer. The prototype has been seen at several dunes so says my new Dirt Wheels. Suppose to be a little bigger machine with a lot of suspension (aka Bombardier) and faster than any 4 stoke out there. Rumor has it that it has a Prosche built engine in it. I hope it is all true and the production machine is the same.

I forgot to add this earlier. Check out www.off-road.com/atv/ if you want to see how some other quads did against the Predator 500 test machine at the Oregon Dunes. Sounds pretty good, but this is a magazine article.

I heard it weighs around 420+lbs with no reverse, that's a little heavy to push around for me.

after I told them about it our local polaris shop got a call and said they will get them in August.......

Kind of funny I had to tell them about it makes me want them working on my quad NOT !!!
