ChainSlider?

Hey,

Just got my JB swingarm, and I was wondering what I should do for a chainslider? I know the chain is a very important part of the quad, and I would like to do all I can to keep it from coming off and damaging my future motor!

Whats the best option? I have heard of people using banshee sliders!

Let me know what you think I should do
Its getting a new powdercoat, the swingarm itself is new
Here is a pic of it

I used an aftermarket slider for a 250R on my Lonestar swingarm. I had to trim it a little to make it fit correctly.

I'll post a pic later.

I've got that same swingarm on mine. The banshee slider bolts up perfectly. I have a plastic one on mine, but if you can afford it, get a metal one.

jody designs those to use the banshee slider. plastic stock slider lasts for years and slides right in.

Awsome, so does anyone have any experience with this swinger? Any problem areas? What about perfermance.

If its not too much trouble, could someone post a link or pic of what kind of slider I should be looking for?

I have no issues with the swinger at all. Jody makes very good stuff. I don't have any pics of the slider. Just go to your local Yamaha dealer and tell them you want a stock banshee chain slider.

I may be reading this wrong but I think he's looking for the slider, which wraps around the front of the arm. A Banshee part will NOT work here. A Banshee chain GUIDE goes on the mounting bracket towards the rear of the arm.

the front slider over the pivot bolt takes the stock R style...notice the hole. Otherwise, he needs the banshee slider to mount into the specially designed bracket for the rear sprocket that the pic shows two bolts thru it. It's a JB signature item on all his swingers. I have one on my 416....it's first class.

JB must have copied it, both my Laeger and Lonestar arm have the bracket for the Banshee chain guide.

no doubt. every swinger should have one of those. you can put her to the rug and still have piece of mind that the chain won't come flying off
