im on my 3rd skid plate and am getting tired of bending these things back down!!! whats the best skid plate out there for the 400ex?? thanks

i doubt youre gonna find one that wont get beatup and bent.thats what they are made for, they take the hits so your rotor and chain dont.you should try hitting the bigger rocks and stuf with a tire though instead of the plate.

yeah some of the places i ride its hard to aviod the rocks with the plate, this isnt an operator issue. i just wanna hear what people have had better luck with.

My Armadillo skid is holding up well. It has been on for almost a year.

I have used the PRM .250" thickness on two different quads. Have yet to bend them. They work excellent.

I have the Pro Armor swingarm armor... 1/4" steel and have not even come close to bending it... I got a brand new one I can let go for $108...
