Is ibuprophen or advil ok to take before a 2hr. harescramble? ive heard it lowers your reaction time.

Only take aspirin. While the others help with headaches....aspirin increases blood flow and really helps with cramps and arm pump during a race.

Be careful when taking Asprin before a race since it does thin out your blood.If you are unlucky enough to get hurt you will bleed very easily.
