has anybody put a 97 cr 250 ignition on a 250r with a esr adaptor plate and did it work thanks,p

me and jon370r put a 1997 cr250 ignition on my new 350 motor and yes with the esr adaptor plate it does work

97 and 98 CR250 ignitions are the same, they have extra stuff to run the powerjet carb. Are you going to use that setup? I have 2001 CR ignitions on my R's and I love them.

i just got my last piece i needed for my 2001 setup we actually disconnected some of the extras off the wiring harness to trim down the 97 set up, it seems alot cheaper to pick up a 97 setup than the 2001 but the results seem the same
