330 needs a bigger radiator?

I just bought a 330 motor and i dont think my stock r radiator can cool it all that well. What do you guys recommend for an oversized radiator. I was thinking an afco from janssen but i heard the pwr radiators are extremely nice. Just want some of your guys opinions. Thanks fellas.

I kept the Walsh radiator from my full Walsh bike when I sold it because that has got to be the coolest rad ever made. The Walsh rad has intergrated shouds and holds almost twice what the stock Honda rad holds. It is real $$$ though, and I would hate to see what would happen in a crash. I'm not even sure if Walsh makes them anymore though. Isn't that something, discontinue the parts for the bike that kept atv racing aflot for years.

Yeah those radiators look sick. What did they go for when they were available? I am looking at a pwr for 350 shipped and the afco is like 10 bucks more. I cant make up my mind, i guess i will have to pick soon.

I had a 330 on my atc250r for awhile without much overheating problems, I would think that a stock one will work fine. I had problems with the crank seals and intake, fixed them and I got a 310pv. No heat problems there either with 20 yrs old radiators

I would go with the PWR, they are an excellent radiator and should be more than suffiecient to cool the 330. Deathman is right though you might get away with being able to run the stock radiator. If you do I would run Engine Ice and inline coolers to get the maximum cooling.

tose Afco radiators are pretty nice, and you can get one from janssen racing on ebay for 300 dollars (there reserve price)

My buddy has a 310 esr pv on his 250r and it started overheating so he bought a pwr and hasn't had any more problems.

Thanks for all the replys.

I won an off-brand radiator on Ebay with a core that is at least three times thicker than the stocker. Too bad the guy doesn't sell them anymore.

I ran my 330 for a year with stock rad with no problems since I'm stepping up to a 350 i bought a jannsen (afco) radiator pwr are nice but the afco is a dual pass radiator goes threw twice for better cooling

yes and also it has trick anodized aircraft wittings. and also both inlet and outlet are on the same side which makes routing the hoses a snap and the straight hose will not lie on the pipe

the pwr are a little bigger but the fit and finish of the afco is the best.
