Can someone please tell me how to remove the key ignition on my 04? I thought i read it on here somewhere before, but tried to do a search for it and found nothing.

TAKE OFF HOODY AND DISCONNECT THE SWITCH ASSEMBLY.
THEN IF U R GOING TO BE RUNNING LIGHTS.THRE SHOULD BE 4 WIRES TO THE HARNESS SIDE OF THE KEY CONNECTER.LOOP THE RED AND BLACK TOGETHER.IFURGET THE OTHER 2 COLORS,BUT LOOP THEM TOGETHER TOO.THEN YOUR LIGHTS SHOULD WORK.THATS HOW I DID MIND 1 HOUR AFTER I BOUGHT IT....

no leave the other 2 seperated... connect them to kill the engine.

the KEY has 4 wires. only connect the red and black to run. . connect the other 2 to kill the engine..

the lighting is in the handle bar switch..

which I have removed also.. but that isn't what your asking.

just get a wiring diagram and figure it out that way.. thats what i'm going to do..
