2005 E-ton 40 How Do I get rid of the REV Limiter???

Just bought my son a 2005 Eton 40 Electric. We ride out on the Dry Lake Bed outside of Vegas..and he gets going and then the rev limited kicks in? How do I remove this??? Please help me and give me detailed instructions...i dont even know where the Rev Limiter box is...sorry horrible mechanic!!!! Thanks to whoever can help!

my son has a viper 70. On the cdi box you can turn it up about 7 notches to make them go alot faster.

Oops I forgot to explain...the CDI box is a 2-3 inch square box about an inch thick underneath the front plastic nose. (under and in front of the handlebars)Just remove the nose and the CDI slides right off of the frame. You need a small screwdriver to turn the arrow up to whatever notch you want it on.

I'm kinda confused. The first post says " electric". This is a gas powered quad or electric powered quad?

It is a 2 stroke gas powered quad.

My son has a 2003 viper50 and the cdi was NOT adjustable...I kjnow some are but his was not. I had to order a new cdi off ebay (lucky7 racing).
