Hi i have a lt250r with reeds pistons and bored .40 over exhaust air filter. and my buddy has a stock 660 raptor you guys think i can put 50$ on a 300 ft drag and beat him im a pretty good ridder this will be the first race that i will do that why im askn. Gimme your thoughts

Yes, you can beat him without much trouble if you don't screw up! I have both quads, so I know what I am talking about. A stock LT may not beat a Rappy, but one with your mods will. The mods on my LT... No contest.

i would say bet more than that! even a rap with a pipe prolly wouldnt beat your lt with the mods u have. I know ive beaten piped raps with my lt setup the way it is. but any ways good luck

Actually, I can honestly say I know for a fact you will beat him as long as your bike is properly tuned. You should up the ante, my friend.

Not quite...

Stock, Raptors have good power. I put an Alba pipe and Pro-Flo filter kit on, re-jetted and really woke it up. Yes, a stock Rappy is tall and narrow... But this kid is talking strictly about a drag race. An LT with mods will beat a piped Raptor, but not all that easily.

My much modded LT will beat a Raptor with pipe about 4 quad lengths in approximately 300 ft drag.

Now don't forget to post how the drag went!

haha if u got ur lt250 modded right...that raptor and got no chance in hell...i got mine bored .80 over n port n polished....mines top speed will hit about 105 max....if u got urs bored...that raptor aint touchin u....go make some money

my 450r will kill a lt250r (It is alot faster than my trx250r)
and I wouldnt be able to outrun a 660 by that far.
lt250r vs 660r will be close.
are you sure he wasnt in reverse ?

I know i'm a little late with this one, but I smoked a raptor that had a pipe and some other work by about 100ft! I also rode it, it had no top end and the handeling sucked!

The lt250r has a power valve on 88 and up which gives it a serious advantage over the honda.

its still not going to win by that far unless there is something wrong with the rappy

I like the ltr250r, they where faster in the straights than the honda 250r (stock)
(but the trx easily out handled the zuki and looked better than the zuki too)

with equal riders............
ltr250r and 660 raptor in 300' will be close

I dont think you could beat a stock 250ex by 100' in a 300'

(I have money to lose if you wish to prove me wrong)
