My axle looks like crap. It has a bunch of chain lube residue all over it and I'm wondering how to clean it up. Is there any special chemicals that will strip it shiny again. p.s. it's stock.

You can use WD-40, Simple Green, Brakleen, or Carb Cleaner to get all the built up gunk off of there

I just took some mothers polish to mine and it cleaned it up alot and it looks new now. just a little elbow grease haha

carb cleaner

i use that to get sap off my plastics,clean my rims,wash my dog....well ok it doesnt work for dogs

clean it with some degreaser of some kind, then do the polish as beaker said and it will stay cleaner for longer. BUT from your pic I would say thats about as good as a stocker axle is gonna look

If you clean it after every ride it won't get like that.

take a rag and mothers put the quads rear end in the air, put it in 1st gear or have someone hold the throttle and take the rag and have it so its like a U and let er rip.
