If you just installed a pipe(and jetted accordingly) on an otherwise all stock Taiwan based 2 stroke 90cc mini quad what would the overall outcome be?Would you lose alot of bottom end?Would you gain some top end?Just curious...

im pretty sure you would loose bottom end....not because of the pipe per say...but ebcause if the clutch roller weights and spring are not changed the clutch wont engage (stall) at the proper engine speed.
i think

I was just curious because you always do the pipe/carb/clutch mods at the same time.I have never tried just putting a pipe on one to see what it does. You are probably right though.

Actually I did that on a Kymco 2 stroke 50. Basically the pipe over powers the clutch and it falls over on its face. Made it slower. Doing the clutch spring and rollers fixes it.
