I have an 05 KFX400 that i have had since Christmas and jsut recently had to switch to reserve n my first tank of gas......waiting for buddies to get quads so i can get some seat time other then around my property. My question is i have noticed pretty early on that my rear brake squeaks. is this something that just needs a cleaning or could it be a problem from the factory or is it just a normal thing. Just gets annoying when riding around slow with my daughter on her 50 and i hear the squeak....squeak....squeak lol

you might need new brake pads nd check your rotor for anything that iwll cause it

i can't see it needing brake pads as it is basically brand new. like i said it hasn't even been through one full tank of gas yet

that happened to mine and it was just a little blemish on the rotar. i sanded it down and the problem was solved.

same thing happened to mine when i first got it. the pads and the rotor both need a little wear on them. i just rode around in 2nd gear with the brake on for like 5 minutes and that did it for me
