Yesturday I was at local track in central PA and me and my buddies were ridin down the trails. You got the lane you are in and an on coming lane. There is a long easy turn coming up. Wer crusin down with our raptors doing about 50 and some girl on a banshee in the oncoming lane couldnt make this turn got it up on two wheels and hit a tree. She had to be doin about 60. And Alls we herd was a thump and a crack. Sounded like a wooden baseball bat hitting a tree HARD!!! We lock up the breaks look back and see a pile of blue and white garbage and blood. We whip our quads around ride over in a hurry and check it out. There is a girl wedgd between the bars and the rear of her quad with her face looking at us . Her eyes were wide open and her helmet was split in two. She was without movement and we realized she was gone. We called 911 imidiatly and unfortunatly it was way to late. The time waiting for the ambulence was dead quiet. We just couldnt beleive it. It was probobly was one of the most horrific things I ve ever seen. RIP Melissa F.

Certainly sorry to hear about anything like this! Sometimes it takes something like this to slow the rest of us down, or pull that chin strap a little tighter!

RIDE SAFE...........

Man This is what makes some people think twice about how they ride. My prayers are with her, and may she rest in piece.

Posted by: 400EXride

I am really sorry to hear that as well. May she rest in peace.

I mean no disrespect but it sounds like she wasn't an experienced rider. I am really surprised to hear of someone riding at that speed by themselves.

That being said, if you have to ride by yourself, try to take it easy. Don't ride beyond your ability.
