I talked to Troy and Verde powersports and we are sending off LILQJ's Kasea seat to get some much needed seat height.

Troy explained to me a little bit about the dif. kinds of seat foams and what kind of overall results she should have .

I think this would be a SUPER modification for mini riders just like my Daughter who is a taller rider or older rider who needs a little helping hand in sitting and standing more anotomically correct.

Ill post some pics of what it looks like and maybe some before/after shots. Then, if everyone is happy with the ending result, you will now know were to go when you need this done for your mini rider

Kelseys seat arrived today. It made a noticable improvement !
Were modifying the Stem and adding a clamp on the bars for some added height as well tomorrow.
Heres the seat stock...ITs an older pic ...You can see where the red had been modified (we didnt have to buy a new seat cover, just added from the bottom piece)

Now heres the new seat mod .

QJ, Do you think they could take that square Blaster seat and round off the corners a little and make it look like it should???

Posted by: QuadJunkies

I cant see why not!
He talked like modding w/ seat foam was really not that hard to do. ITs not an expensive mod either.

I think this would he a GREAT innexpensive mod to do fora mini rider who needs to gain another 1-2 years on a mini as well.

We just thought of something ....

We went to do her stem, when we realized she will need longer Brake lines and cables?? Do they make longer ones ??
Stem will be a good +2 or +3. Right now its got a 1/2 inch riser on it .

Posted by: newnick

I put a +2 stem on with the +3 arms and had to reroute the break lines. I would rather some longer ones though. Post up if you find any.

you can have just about anyone (reputable) make you a set, just like making throttle cables.

WRH referred me to check with Terry Cable for the Cables. Ill give them a buzz next week. All I know is that this one has some special part on the cable so I MIGHT have to send it out to be duplicated.

Terry Cable built me extened cables for my boys +4 A-Arms for $25.00 a pc. The only thing they didn't put on them was the bent tubing down at the brake hub, so I just bent a piece of stainless tubing and slid it down to keep the cable off the rim.

Thanks for the info Brad

Houston.. We have a problem....

Cover is too tight and Im not postivie but I think the underlying foam is off some ..

Posted by: QuadJunkies

Ill have to give them a buzz Monday and see what needs to be done to get a better fit...

I remember when I had my seat cover on it would cause the front end to pucker up.

Did the seat have a large gap between it and the plastic before the refoaming?

Posted by: QuadJunkies

no, it was a pretty tight fit..Here is what It looked like before
