how do i know when its time to replace the counter balancer holder and bearing ? is it a preventive maintenance item ? what are the signs to look for during a teardown inspection ? also, how hard is it to replace the bearing ?

if your stator side holder has a crack that can be a sign. the bearings wiggle when new but excessive wiggle means its time to replace...

if you mark the gear and know how to press the gear off, east coast atv sells those bearings, might have to order it but they have em.....

you might as well buy the CB holder bearing too....
