I installed a JE 10:8:1 piston and a hotcams stage two last night, adjusted the valves at .13 intake and .15 exhaust as per the hotcams card.
It's ticking a lot, valve train noise, I have heard that this "could" be normal but it seems a bit excessive to me????
Any thoughts?

Me and my friend just did the same on his 400ex. The cam bearings were swapped (our first time doing it) so the less durable was on the wrong side. It wore out the cam bearing on the chain side in a couple hours and the ticking started. Still waiting on the bearings from Honda

Not getting noise like loose cam chain, it's valve noise (rockers)
