Im kinda a fan of the stock 400ex tires so if theyre still hooking up good i'd probably get suspension.

tires, 450r shocks aren't worth the money you'll spend. If you're wanting better suspension save up acouple hundred more and get some used aftermarket shocks. Believe me, i've tried both.

i dont really want to spend that much on suspension i jus want a little bit better feel

If you're like me, you won't regret getting the 450r suspention. The shocks are a million times better than stock, and suit me fine. They feel great on everything. I haven't owned aftermarket suspention like Works, so I cannot comment... but like I said, I am very pleased with them as of right now.
