what is the size diff. between the Z and the 400ex? (Not numbers, but how much
bigger/smaller the FEEL)

Well, to me the Z feels shorter and narrower but about the same height. I think the reason the Z feels shorter is because the front-end drops off more suddenly than the EX, when sitting on the EX you can see the front fenders and headlight housing out there. On the Z it seems like everything just drops off in front of the handlebars. I like the feel of the EX better, but then again, I'm used to riding an EX and mine is set up to feel like a part of me. The Z is a good feeling quad though, especially if you get rid of those weird bend stock handlebars.
