Just got my wifes 88R back together, and wanted to know what you guys thought would be a good baseline jetting to start with. It has the following new mods: ESR trx5 pipe& silencer/ v force 3 / 38mm AS (came with 185 main from ESR and clip on #4 position), ESR air box elim kit with k&n/ dune port. I live in Phoenix area where it is aprox 1100' elevation, dry mild climate (for now), and I run 100LL @ 50:1. The 185 main thats in it right now is the top of the range on the jet kit I got from ESR, and seems a little fat. Just wanted your opinions or suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Based on the mods listed, I would start clip in the middle position on the needle and 175 main. The main will probably end up still too fat, but I would begin there. I wouldn't doubt it if you ended up using a ~165 main, but thats just a guess so please dont start there and cause a lean condition

Thanks for the advice, I was going to start in the 178 range, just wanted to make sure though. I'll start at 175 and see what happens, thanks.
