What hoods fits my 400ex

I have Maier Race cuts, and i see people runnign 250r and 450r hoods, how do i get them to fit my bike? Are they a direct bolt on, or will i need to modify it.

They are not maier fronts, but the maier 250R hoods work on stock plastics with very little modification.

Maier also makes a 400EX hood....

250r and 400ex front plastic is almost the same shape so the hoods are about the same. dont see many people running 450r hoods on them though but people do. with the 450r hood i think is slight shorter than the 250 and 400.

My main concern is that i want it to sit flush, i dont want any of teh edges sticking up.

Like I said above in an earlier post, Maier makes a 400EX hood also, I am using the 250R hood.

I know quadtech makes a 400ex hood. The maier hood is for the newer plastic not shure how it will fit.

stock fronts with maier 450r hood,
a little cutting, but it matches really good
