How long should I wait till the engine is warm to start riding? Should I wait a few minutes or when the fan comes on? Thanks.

Don't take to long...few mins..I just wait for the exhaust coming out the pipe to be warm.

Side cases should be warm to touch!

I feel the head/cylinder area with my bare hand. When it's warm/hot, I know I'm ready. That is what you are wanting to "warm up"
