Raptor rear shock for 300ex?

I am in the market to purchase an better rear shock for my 300ex. I hear from a few people that a Raptor rear shock will fit the stock swingarm/bracket length perfectly. Question: Do all year Raptors fit or is it just the one with the remote rezzy? Thanks for your help.

Your going to catch alot of $hit for not doing a search. It is only a 2001 with the remote rese that will work. I did this swap last year works awsome if you need any pics or tips on the install just shoot me a pm.
