Has anyone seen the new 450s yet? I think there ugly. but they did totally like redo everything. I couldnt even find the choke!

I see one everytime I walk into my garage

I'm still undecided on the bodywork, in a way I like how the headlights don't pop right out at you; at first glance it dosen't even look like it has headlights, but how the '04's and '05's had their headlights blended-in as part of the plastics looks pretty cool too.

FYI the choke knob is on the left-hand side of the quad, behind the plastic. It's yellow.

mite be ugly, but the motors a power house, i think yamaha and suzuki, could be in trouble if honda ever extends the aarms and axle out the box like the ltr, the 06 R is wicked!!!!!!!!

ya I didnt think it looked good in the magazine once I got in my garage the headlight grew on me and besides nobody gets to see my headlight anyway when were out riding all the see is my grab bar as I pull away!! oh and my choke knob IS bright yellow not black

lol the choke is so easy to find. i don't even have to look for it. ours is yellow. not in love with gearing, mx speaking. it does nothing but spin the tires on dry pack. our 04 and 05's don't spin like that. and they are built. they have more torque but are not as throttle responsive. we have baldwin fcr's on the 04 and 05.

I personally like the looks of my 06 450r. Its got a bad-*** look to it. The Suzuki looks 'too tall' to me and the Raptor body-work is pretty OK. I chose the Red, cuz the Black looks like crap pretty quick

lol...i did find the choke it's kinda underneath the plastic. My point being was they changed alot fo stuff on it compared to the 05!

nope haven't seen one yet...are there any differences in the looks of them? any motor upgrades? these have been out for 6 months now? i am surprised that people are talking about the differences...lol

Yea Ill be at the Farm, As for the Axis the fronts I had and the rear is a complete package. Jb LT swinger, shock and Linkage.. It is the smoothest riding rear I have EVER rode...

nice quads all of them, ugly dosent seem to be the majority opinion. could it be that your old and dont like change ? or did you just get talked into an 05 at the dealer and your pissed because you didnt get the 06? the body didnt change that much, at least not enough to say the 05 looks good and the 06 dont.

I think the 06 looks better than the 05. The hood really is the only major difference and it actually looks good with the light removed and the stock hood. The 05 there would be a huge hole.

Thanks, I plan on doing all the Iowa races. The rear is the New JB Long travel, and Gt Thunder does all my shocks. Its sweet I'm thinking its better than the ARS-FX set-up its that good. You'll have to try it and see at the Farm..
