is there an aftermarket or a stock shock from another quad that will fit the rear of the 250EX that has some adjustment to it?the stock shock is way to stiff for my wife.she wieghs about 100 pounds and it tosses her all over the seat without the shock compressing.

Both elka and works make shocks for the 250. They can fine tune them for your weight also. Not sure about stock shocks from other quads.

is the banshee stock shock softer than the 250's?cuz man is that thing stiff!

I'm pretty sure it's a banshee front shock that goes on the rear of a 250ex. I've never seen pics of it, but i've heared they are the same length, and it's probably softer too.

ok well a banshee rear shock doesnt fit.but a 400ex front shock does.i put one of the stockers from my 400 on it.oh man does it ride nice now!!might be a little to soft as when you hit the gass the back end raises a little but its perfect for the wife now.the 400 shock is a here longer but wont change the rear ride hieght.only thing you need to do is make a couple spacers or suse some washeres on the top bushing as the 400 shocks bushing is as wide as the 250exs bushing.
