Buying a used 2003 KFX400. It is like new. Is there anything I should look for problemwise and will it be a difference from a 400EX.

One thing to really look for is the condition of the frame. The kfx and the ltz have had problems with frame breakage.

Yes take a good look at the frame they had BIG problems with that evedently until they fixed in '04 or '05.

I have a 04 KFX and I love it. You should be happy with it

Check for cracks in the frame mostly by the shock mounts or chips in the paint. Also check to see how the bike runs take it for a test spin if you can. It is very much different from the ex more top end reverse liquid cooled. But the ex is way more reliable and its the king of all whellie quads
