I am going to change the plastic on my 2001 400ex with the new black plastics for the 2006 model. I was just wondering if anyone knows if they are interchangable?

I'm sure it can be done, but you will probably need to make your own brackets.

I have a 2004 400ex and I know the 2005 plastics will fit. It is exactly a direct bolt on, you can even use your old fender brackets. The only problem I'm having is mounting the headlight bracket. If any one can send me a picture of the headlight mounted in the bike or if some one has completed it please let me know.
