i was looken at the 03 kfx and it was gusested and the frame was powerdercoated and built back on the frame. and i was thinking what one would be better a 03kfx with a 04 motor or a 02 400ex?

this has been posted many many times...the kfx is a MUCH better quad. it kicks the 400exs @$$ in every way, except reliability.

Exactly Reliability buy the honda it takes it stock on stock to 3rd gear and is only 2 mph slower top speed.The ex will be alot faster when the Z breaks down every five min. My friend got smart and got a 250R for his Z with a cracked frame blown engine and many other things were wrong with it.

ive had the z for 2 years and been racing it for the past year.. i havent had any break downs other than crashes but that doesnt have to do with the bike. if i was u id buy the kfx..

uh huh....my friends brothers sisters 5th divroced husband of alabama and his neighbor who knew someone said he took his honda out and started it and it blew up and caught fire.......So honda's aren't reliable.

the frame problem is only with the 03 and now it is fixed and i have never heard about a z engine blowing up

Why wouldn't you pick a liquid cooled, faster, better suspension, better looking, lighter quad over a old 400ex?

KFX faster liquid cooled reverse better looking if you ask me. you wont have to worry about the frame since it was gusseted. Get the kawi.
