i pulled my choke knob this afternoon and the damn thing broke. guess i pulled it an angle instead of straight up. anyway i called my honda shop and they said that the choke plunger was serviceable an the part would be here tomorrow. well upon further inspection and pulling the bowl off, i cant figure out how to get it out of the carb. i can pull whats left of the rod up and its spring loaded or something cause it goes right back down. i dont know how to get the damn thig out, can anyone help me on the process of replacing it?

Remove the entire choke assembly by unthreading the black plastic base out of the aluminum carb body on a stock TRXR carb.
