400 or 250r frame?

i was wondering how much of a diffrance the 400ex frame is to a 250r and the parts interchangeable?

Shims will be needed to make the a-arms fit correctly, 400EX frame does have the radiator brackets, swingarms will need modifications go work.

'88-'89 250R and 400ex use the same hubs
Front shocks are similar lengths
rear shocks are different and use different linkages
any 250R has better front brakes
$150 adapter is needed to use 250r calipers on 400ex spindles
