I am going to be buying a quad in two days that has the ESR 265 kit on it. I am just wondering how reliable these machines are and how fast they are with this kit on it...? Is there any special things that I need to do to this motor?

Same here. I have a 330 and a 265 ESR. my wife has been on the 265 for over a year. no problems. I've rode my 330r just about every weekend since last summer. I wouldn't change a thing.
