does anyone know around what size jets to use? i realize it is probably trial by error, but i was just wondering if anyone might be in a similar situation. i have the following:

dyno jet kit (i bought it with this stuff on it)
kn filter and outerware
yoshimura exhaust
elevation is 1100

we can't tell if its the rev limiter or if it needs re-jetted. i bought it in a about a thousand foot lower elevation. i dont know how important that is, im kinda new at this sort of thing. i mean it runs good but we think we could get a little more out of it. it breaks up on the top end in around 2nd and 3rd gear if you really get on it.

You opened the exhaust and intake now its running lean in the top end hence the cutting out. The jet kit will recommend what jets to use and how to set the need the mixture screw...start there then ask questions. If you dont understand this then bring it somehwere and let them do it because you will probably never get it working right.

hahaha whats up scanz85. i made out pretty good. turns out that it was jetted just fine. it was hitting the rev limiter more quickly due to the exhaust. thanx for the concern. haha i'll tlak to ya later bro
