anyone put sand tires on their 450 yet? know what size works best?

I am ordering sand tires this week for my ltr. I usually get 21 inch skat traks but the gearing seams really high in 1st and 2nd so I am going to try and get some shorter ones to keep my gearing lower. I might have to check in ordering a smaller sprocket up front or larger for the back to lower the gears.

Anybody else changed sprockets yet?

I ran some 20" studded turf tamers out on the ice last weekend and the gearing was way off. I'm going 13 front/38 rear with 20" 7 paddle haulers for the sand.

Is the stock front 14 teeth? Those are some sweet looking tires. How do you like your Yosh pipe?

Yes the stock front sprocket is 14 teeth but I have already switched to 13 The Yosh IMO adds another 3hp on top of the 7hp
the cherry bomb lid off pea shooter out

What do you mean the IMO? I ordered the Yosh pipe and cherry bomb. Is there anything I am missing? I will also be contacting Rocky Mtn atv tomorrow about skat traks haulers and possibly a 13 tooth sprocket

Just got back from glamis - put a 13 t primary and 20" rear scat trak edge tires. I liked that combo better than the 14 t stock primary. Also ran 22" itp sandstars in front. Hooked up well when I wanted to but not so much it couldn't keep the front end down.
