Z400 in Tacoma xtra cab box? Will it fit properly?

Hi there. I was wondering if anyone here hauls there Z400 in an xtra cab Tacoma and if the bike fits well in the box. I am going to be buying a Z in march and own an 01 taco. Anway i was measuring the box and it seems the inside of the wheel wells is 40 inches and i read the Z is 45.9 inches wide. I was wondering if the bike slides down enough in the front of box past the wheel wells for a proper fit or does it sit on an angle. And also is it better facing forward or backwards. One more thing...is the grab bar easliy removed for transport if need be? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I got +2 LT arms and an axle on mine and it still fits... I have to drive over the wheelwells though.

a stock z will fit snugly between the wheelwells. you want to drive it in forward because the rear wheels are wider and the grab bar would hit your rear window.

I fit my kfx400 in the back of a small ford ranger just gotta go over the wheelwells with the front tires.
