hardly worth putting on yet but heres my 89 in the making ..

mostly finished , awaiting new seat foam and need to sort out squish before i drop engine in . this is going to be ROAD LEGAL in UK . converted it to dc with a battery and all indicators , sidelights , brake lights etc

i just painted the plastics in ford pearlescent black 2k with a plasticiser . they look shiny now ! and pretty tough too .

David Bailey has them on his 250f to protect his legs, and he has a seatbelt too. It is sweet to see him ride again.

It's the sun and the camera playing tricks on your eyes.

As for the tire question, I really like this setup. I've never had Razr2 fronts, but the Razr1
s are very nice. The Razr2 rears grab like crazy... A little heavy but I got used to it fast.

I bought this original 89 from the original owners - a Grandmother! lol It's surprisingly plush actually... mellow on the bottom end with smooth transition. No hit. It's definetely a 2stroke though.
It's got the ORIGINAL piston in it! It wasn't cheap really though.

I have yet to ride my project

. I am waiting on replacement bolts for the Hiper rings since 1/3 of mine are striped and my sprockets are lost in the mail.

here's mine. i have done a few things to it since the pictures. it has a virgin bore, ported/polished by k & t muchmore, pep shocks all around, JD performance +2's, LSR axle, 38 A/S, shaved head, cr reed cage, denton steering damper, and a esr pipe. this is the strongest bike i have ever ridden

im glad you like it. its made by lazer and it is hooked up where the factory connector goes. btw, they are very bright and work real good at night in the dunes.

Let's face it, everybody loves the R.

I dig seeing all the combos of R's. Lots of colors, engine packages, frames and suspension packages, graphics, bumpers, tire/wheel combos, handlebars and controls, plastic choices....

But in all of them, their beats the heart of an R.

Last one for now... This one is mostly all Lonestar, frame, swinger etc. Motor is a CT 330 kit, ESR Head with TRX5 pipe, CR250 powerjet carb etc.

My other one is mostly stock components with a CT310 kit.

Arego, I remember seeing that quad forsale on a-tvscene. That is one sweet set up he has on that thing. I think it had like a 7k price tag so it was a little out of my range.

Texeira explained on that site why it lost to the ltr450, I can't remember why, but I think he said something was wrong with the R when they had the shootout.

ya i know that shootout was about the biggest chuck of bullshiaat i ever saw. first in a 200 ft drag the r won by 10 lengths. then they pulled the muffler core out and it made up 17 lengths... there had to be something wrong with the R

I bought the cylinder unported and had it done by a local performance shop that has done work for me in years past. He is going to TRY to get it running correctly (he thinks its the timing). I just have to put the motor back in and get it up to him.

went and rode at sand lake here in oregon and yup the mag is full of it. The bike is fast and ran great. I had ed put the stock length swingarm back on before I got it which helps a little but i was using 8 paddle sand stars and smokin all the 450's up the bowl pullin wheelies in 4th and laughin...
