What psi would be good to run at silver lake? I want to be able to jump but still have good traction. I have stock fronts razr rears.

Is the sand there pretty soft and deep?
Oregon has two different dune areas, both are very different terrain.

I usually ride with sand tires all around but a few of the people I ride with don't have paddles and they usually air their back tires (stock--which I believe hold 5psi) down to about 3psi and I think they leave the fronts alone.
I have no idea if this is really the "correct" way to do this but it works for them.

Go down to about 2 depending on the sand conditions. Our stock raptor without paddles would go up about anything with 2-3 PSI in the rear tires. Just leave the fronts how they are, it doesnt really matter for them.

Since you have Razr's, they are really stiff in the sidewall, you could just go down as far as you want really, just dont let it look like its flat.

yeah what screamin said , run about 4 in the front but its doesnt matter too much.

Wow! The sand must be a lot different than the mud/woods. If I ran 2 lbs or less in my rears I'd either roll a bead, bend a rim, or punch about a bazillion holes in the tires.

The sand is soft but it is soposed to rain before we go. Thanks for the help. I think I will air it down to around 3 or 2.
