04 kicker having a problem

hi when im riding my kicker sticks out . it wont stay in i dnt know if its from vibration or what but it dont stick in i was wondering if this happened to anyone else and what they did or what i could to to keep it from popping out

yeah where the kicker swivels out at the bottom near the shaft it has a spring with a ball infront of it...(kinda like how a socket wrench holds the socket on iT) you can try spray lube down there.. maybe the ball is stuck if not u need a new kicker.

Take the kicker apart and stretch the spring. That will put more outward pressure on the ball and help it seat in it's place.

If you buy a new kicker put a grease zerk in it.Makes'em last longer.
